“Christmas in July” MINI-sessions in New Hartford, CT
Christmas is a magical time of year, and it’s no wonder that so many people love to capture the memories of the season with professional photos. But what if you could get your Christmas mini session done in July? That’s right, Christmas in July mini sessions are a real thing, and they’re a great way to get your holiday photos done without having to wait until December!
Why do Holiday MINI Sessions in July?
- It’s warm! You (and you kids!) don’t have to freeze for 15 minutes.
- Easy Outfits! You can wear your beautiful strapless dress without fear of goosebump skin, or a Hawaiian shirt, or a swim suit, or shorts and t-shirts. And, the toddlers and babies don’t have to be all bundled up!
- If you are a planner, and like all your cards done ahead of time, this is a perfect opportunity for you. You will have all your cards done way ahead of schedule!
- It’s fun! Wear a summer outfit and a Santa hat, flaunt your summer tan, sip your iced latte instead of hot chocolate 🙂
What is a Christmas Mini Session?
It’s a short and sweet 15 minutes session, with a few decorations to bring up Christmas spirit.
Who are these sessions best suited for?
Anybody really, but here are the ideas:
- Families, especially with the kids, whose attention spans are short
- Maternity
- Baby milestones (3/6/9 months)
- Couples
- Kids portraits
- Single portrait (either for a child or for an adult, it would make a memorable gift)

How much is the mini session?
$205 (plus 6.35% CT Sales Tax). Due at the time of booking.
When and where do Christmas Mini Sessions take place?
Holiday Farm in New Hartford, CT (Tree Farm)
July 30th, 5.40pm – 8pm
How to book the session?
Fill out the booking request or email me at ahudzen@gmail.com with your preferred time. Once the booking request is received, I will send you a contract to complete your booking. Once the contract is signed and the payment is made, your session is booked.
What to wear for Christmas in July Mini-Session?
The options are unlimited! From traditional Christmas outfits to fun summer dresses, from Hawaiian shirts and shorts to Santa hats and Elf hats. Stick to habitual neutrals, whites, deep greens and reds, etc or add a bit of summer flavor with go with bright colors, sparkles, and sequins.
