What is a Fall Mini Session?

It’s a short and sweet 15 minutes session during foliage season. Unlike a full session, where there is time to walk from place to place, to engage in different activities with kids, to even have a quick snack, a mini-sessions is done at one place, quick and painless – toddlers don’t have time to burn out, and dads barely have any time to get grumpy 🙂

How much is the mini session?

$215 (plus 6.35% CT Sales Tax). Due at the time of booking.

When and where do Fall Mini Sessions in Farmington CT take place?

My Backyard in Farmington, CT. October 11th, 2025. Rain date October 12th, 2025.

Smith Farm in Avon, CT. October 25th, 2025. The location is subject to change based on the foliage and weather conditions. If the maple tree is not in the right condition, the session will be moved to either my backyard in Farmington or Meadowland Park in Farmington.

What to wear?

Warmer colors (browns, deep reds and dark yellows, tans), neutrals, whites, creams, etc. Long dresses are often very flattering, but boots, jeans, and a chunky sweater add a particular autumn charm to pictures. And keep in mind, textured clothes (knits, denim, layers) photograph especially well 🙂
