Christmas Mini Session with a dog/ Farmington CT Photographer

When families with newborns come for sessions, it’s always heartwarming and super cute. Their new baby euphoria hasn’t yet evaporated, and their eyes are just shining with love and tenderness for each other. When you add their furry babies into the mix, the cuteness just flies through the roof!

There are many reasons why do a Christmas Mini Session, besides creating life long memories, beautiful pictures for Christmas cards, and having fun. This lovely family had their own reason. When their cutie-pie baby was born a couple months beforehand, they didn’t get a chance to get her newborn pictures done. And now, they saw a wonderful opportunity to at least attempt to fill the gap. An outdoor family mini-session can’t compare to a newborn photoshoot of course, but it’s a step in the right direction 🙂 They could still create memories of how tiny, sweet, and pure she is at 2 months old, how affectionate they are towards this precious bundle of love, how grateful they are to her and to each other for this gift of parenthood. And, they could have some holiday fun!

What’s good about Holiday mini photoshoot, I that it only lasts 15 minutes (grumpy dads and short attention span kids rejoice!). You are in and out so quick that you just don’t have time to get tired. But what you do have time for, is to create warm memories which would last forever in your pictures! This family had so much fun! Their dog Pepper, as any proper self-respecting dog, wanted nothing to do with the camera. The parents besides chasing their four-legged baby, were hugging, kissing and laughing. Their two-months old human baby was watching and attempting her smiles. And before they could get weary of this fun craziness, it was over! All in all, holiday cheer and Christmas mood achieved 🙂
